The Matches - A note from Mark Hoppus...

Matches' friends:

We just started the +44 tour (where we're the only other band playing besides headliner +44!).

Our label Epitaph asked for Mark Hoppus of +44 (and Blink182 before that - and produced three songs on our new Decomposer CD) to say something about the Matches. You may read a quote or two of his on websites in the next couple of days but below is his whole email response.

So go buy their album, and not because I receive a point structure
pro-rated over the entirety of the album in a most favored nations
status in accordance with the other producers on the record. Buy it
because the songs are that good.
